Flying tips we give every guest

🌅Stay at least 3 nights

With morning arrivals and midday departures, two nights leaves just one full day. Three nights gives you Uluru, Kata Tjuta and an evening experience without rushing.

🪟Grab a window seat

Uluru and Kata Tjuta are often visible from the aircraft on approach — keep your camera handy.

🚌Free resort shuttle

Ayers Rock Resort's complimentary shuttle meets every flight and drops you at your hotel — no hire car needed unless you want one.

🔗Book flights & rooms together

Seats and rooms are both limited, especially May–September. Securing them together avoids holding flights with nowhere to stay.

🐠Add the Reef

The daily Cairns flight makes Uluru plus the Great Barrier Reef easy: Sydney → Uluru → Cairns → home.

🧢Pack for the desert

Fly net, hat, sunscreen and a refillable bottle year-round — plus a warm jacket in winter, when nights can drop below zero.

Flight questions

Frequently asked

Which cities have direct flights to Uluru?

Can I fly direct from Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth or Darwin?

Not at the moment. Brisbane travellers usually connect through Sydney; Adelaide and Hobart through Melbourne or Sydney; Perth through Sydney or Melbourne (or via Alice Springs). Darwin travellers often fly to Alice Springs and continue by road.
